March 28, 2020 — We are pleased to introduce Nicolai Patricío, seminal producer and mastering engineer on Legendo Music’s boreo-pagan folk music project Draugablikk.
Nicolai is a talented and well-respected composer in the computer- and video game industry. He is also a professional multi-instrumentalist, which has led to Nicolai developing a flexible and efficient skill set that allows him to gracefully move between the digital and analog worlds of music, an approach that was put to good use while developing the distinct sound of Draugablíkk, on which he worked for almost two years. Nicolai is also a capable pianist and has played the guitar since a young age. He is familiar with several historical instruments such as the Celtic flute and the Norse lyre, a four-stringed instrument also known as “talharpa” that is frequently mentioned in the Icelandic sagas.
Inspired by classical and modern composers alike, such as Ralph Vaughan Williams, Mick Gordon, Tilman Sillescu, Harry Gregson-Williams, and Hans Zimmer, Nicolai forcefully devotes his life to his craft.
Nicolai Patricío is credited with providing music to a number of high-profile video games. Those include Mortal Kombat X, Total War: Thrones of Britannia, Hitman, and more recently The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics and Legendo Games’ upcoming Viking game Serpents in the Mist.
